The Foundation
PHILOSOPHY
The CBC Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote healthy lifestyles among Canarian children and adolescents through activities related to basketball, physical activity and the organisation of initiatives that transmit positive values such as healthy living, sportsmanship, effort, self-improvement, teamwork and equality.
VALUES
The CBC Foundation is open, inclusive, constructive, educational in values, dynamic, of quality, coherent and above all, close to Canarian society. It develops the following values, among others:

AREAS
The CBC Foundation is active in the following areas:
Training: Advisory activities or meetings with members of the technical teams working with grassroots sport, on subjects such as physical preparation, psychology, nutrition, etc.
Child Protection: Promote a safe and protective environment for the child.
Inclusion, disability and mental health: Projects and activities of common interest related to sport as a tool for social inclusion. Equality: The promotion of gender equality and support for women's sport.
Promotion of sport: The implementation of projects and activities that promote physical activity and sport as a vehicle for the transmission of values and healthy lifestyles.
Sustainability: Development of joint actions to raise awareness of environmental protection, biodiversity, care of mountains and beaches, recycling, etc.
